--- Quote from: Demian on December 31, 2010, 06:12:55 AM ---Well.. I did remake the TF2 ammoboxes from the original high poly models ripped straight from the game.. --- End quote --- Well that's because you made a lower poly model on top of the high poly model. You used it as a kind of template, but none of the original was in the final product (Unless of course you did put some of the original in, but I have no way of knowing.) Furthermore, it was fine for you to do that with the ammo boxes, because that was a sort of primary source. You were trying to make ammoboxes from TF2, so you used the ones from TF2 as a template. If you do that with Furling's models, there is some chance of error because it is more of a secondary source. He made it from the movie, and your model would be made from his. I'm sure Furling's models are amazingly accurate, but my point is that the high poly models are not very useful. god my responses are getting longer and longer |

That's the idea. I built the blocko version of the ammobox on top of the high poly one. I made the blocko one from scratch of course. --- Quote from: Treynolds416 on December 31, 2010, 09:57:04 AM ---Furthermore, it was fine for you to do that with the ammo boxes, because that was a sort of primary source. You asked for someone to remake those Furling's models to be more blocko. --- Quote from: Treynolds416 on December 30, 2010, 07:04:35 PM ---I mean, they're great but can never be put into Blockland because you used too many verticies to model it. --- End quote --- --- Quote from: Treynolds416 on December 30, 2010, 07:11:01 PM ---It's easier to remake something than to remove polys... If it's going to be remade, then there's no point in having the high poly model in the first place. But just so I'm not misunderstood: The models are awesome, but there is no use for them in Blockland --- End quote --- --- Quote from: Furling on December 30, 2010, 07:14:50 PM ---I am done this part. good luck find someone can edit for you. and HAPPY NEW YEAR! --- End quote --- --- Quote from: Treynolds416 on December 31, 2010, 09:57:04 AM ---I'm sure Furling's models are amazingly accurate, but my point is that the high poly models are not very useful. --- End quote --- I said that I can do it, but not without those models. I can't do it from images alone, I need to create the blocko version on top of the original model. |

I has suggestion for the light disc. You should add a homing thing to it because it looks that way in the movies. |
