I am interested in this. More for the potential mining aspect than for the Rock Raiders thing. Out of curiosity, how big are the 'blocks' in the mine compared to a player? |

Keyword opinion, I'm not trying to tell you how to make your game just sayin' Still, it seems pretty cool. I assume you'll be going with whatever sort of canon there was/is for Rock Raiders as to what sort of minerals or resources you're digging up, so the smart move would be to butt out for now. If you want a hand scripting anything I'd be happy to look into stuff, though I assume you're using T3D - I know a fair bit of Torquescript but not a huge amount about specifically T3D and it does seem to be a bit different. Whatever. The offer stands. Guess I'll go back to replaying Ocarina of Time anyhow, good luck with this and I'll probably pop up to rant again later :cookieMonster: |

Small update, remaking Level 8.. can't remember what you do in it but looked like a nice map to use as a test arena. At the moment each Cave "block" has x2 the texture loop which I'll be changing to 1 by next image update making more sense to your eyes when mining. I also added in Tool Icons as seen bottom left hand corner, reusing the old ones because I think they're neat. If you think you can help me there can you PM me, its about the only thing stopping me from testing. Also touching on the Player cave height thing, at the moment the cave is in a perfect 10 10 10 grid which makes my life insanely easier as well as some structures are just barely under the current roof height. |
