I was making a river when I noticed that the curves in the water flow are kind of sharp and unnatural

Is it possible to make River/Rapid Water Bricks that have a diagonal flow so we can make curves and such a bit more natural?

One thing that would also be good would be diagonal road baseplates.

That would be a little harder to shore up against the other road plates
