I made a teleporter a while ago that allowed you ta have all sorts of effests on it. It had the outer edges curved walls and crap. The top had transperent revolving disks which took 5 events on each disk (4 disks )
The door had on activate>slidin door sound, so it was kinda cool. It and its twin were put into a zapt map that i neva finnished. Im gonna look for the save in my save bin and post some pics too if possible.

Don't listen to TheArmyGuy, he has no idea what he's talking about.
For event applications, all you need is something impressive and original that shows your ability to event complex things. It doesn't have to look pretty, or be large. It's nice and all, but it really doesn't have any influence on the judging process.
In this case, you're going to need a bit more than a teleporter. I would ask Ace or Xerces for advice, since I know very little about events.
