My interaction with others is dictated by how they act. You know how Miika acts, and so I act a certain way to that. You're serious, so I act serious. It's how I get along with Goron now. He used to hate me, but now that I've learned to adjust how act accordingly, we get along.
My point is: I'll only act creepy to people some people. It depends on their personality.
