RELESE DAMN YOU!!!!! as soon as its done.  :cookieMonster:

Personally, I think making it so it leaves a few ropes still hanging behind you would be easier than animating a retracting grapple, and look pretty cool as well, but thats me.

However to help pursuade you all, I've managed to source an artists depiction of the final product...

This...

I'm not a scripter. I don't know how to do that nor am I going to animate anything retracting.

Make the trigger not in a guard and have it be one solid square, like on the rocket launcher.

Replace the printer model whit the grapplerope model, remember to put joints such ass "muzzlePoint" and "mountPoint"

I'll try that soon.

I know how to put the models in game. I was referring to the ropes staying behind.

Actually, I don't like the idea of leaving a rope behind. It would be nice to have the rope retract back into the gun, as leaving many ropes can possibly cause lag, especially on servers that have multiple players that requires the use of Grapple Rope.

I don't know if that's even possible.

Which part wouldn't be possible?

Making it reattract to the gun.
Well its not possible untill truce comes at least

Just make a rectangle/cylinder model, and stretch it every time it shoots out.
It's like the Smoker in Gamemode Zombie.

nou
we'd use particles anyway

How about just having the particle disappear, like the current grapple rope we have?
