I have reached the Datablock limit too and after that my server was realy laggy. if you use Kalph's Server Hosting Service then you could have an bigger Datablock limit because these server computers have very much space. |

Like, say I make a datablock about Kalphiter. It would tell me his name, bl_id, and that he's a troll. When someone connects to my server, they download the information about ALL the datablocks. The limit is to make the loading time less than 15 minutes. That is a lot of information to transfer. It's not just to limit the number of add-ons. What does Badspot care about what stuff you put in your server? He just cares that the game runs at a decent speed. |

Personally, I try to keep my datablocks around 2300. But, I don't see why you would need over 3000 unless it was a huge RPG or something. |
