It's not an MMO
At all. It's got one free roam kill the npcs area. That area will get you to level 14. Nowhere else.
Even through the majority of this you can do it alone, basically making it a short campaign.
Otherwise it's just joining the matchmade PvP 16v16 or so servers.

I'm pretty sure the only games you can gift extra copies of are valve games.

I accidentally got the Serious Sam HD Gold Edition and the Double Pack and it gave me extra copies.
