Blender grabing

Well this may seem like a dumb question but I only just started with blender. But how do you grab things?
And I think this is in the wrong place so dont go posting "Wrong section" and all that stuff just please answer the question.

Select the object by right clicking on it. Press 'g' to move it. You can also move it by those directional axis arrows (the red, green, and blue ones)

You don't have to select whole objects. You can select anything from cameras to vertices. When grabbing press Z, X or Y on you keyboard to lock to that axis. Shift allows more precise grabbing.
