All the Open TTD topic are too old to bump, so I think it's time for a new one :D I'm going to start hosting a server, feel free to join. New players are welcome, but I'm not going to explain the entire game to you through chat. That's what the web manual is for. Server is named TapeDeck's Sever(69.244.45.20). Password will be blockland. Download Link: http://www.openttd.org/en/download-stable Game Settings: - Start Year: 1950 - no 90 degree turns for trains or boats - realistic train acceleration - 10 aircraft, 500 trains, 500 road vehicles per player - not allowing buying shares Map Settings: - low cities - medium industries - tropical/desert map - flat map - low water height Please Follow These Guidelines: -Don't buy exclusive transport rights for a city -Don't terrain spam if you have money and you're 'bored' -Don't take other people's goods and food that they produced (unless they say you can) -respect other player's claimed producers (mail and passengers are fair game) -PLEASE set passwords for your company if you dont want to share -There are plenty cities in game to go around, please respect the favored city of each player, and try to avoid developing to much into it. I'm going to shut down the server in a few hours due to my need of sleep, but I'll save the game and bump this topic when the sever is up again. server = up |

Yeah I basically copy/pasted your post haha. I'll maybe host tomorrow or on chirstmas. I just started playing this again during break and I've gotten kinda of decent. |

When I played with you guys, I always got to about year 2020, and then I had to leave for some reason or another, so I never got to get to see the endgame. |
