Author Topic: I don't get it, why is it harder for adults to learn how to play video games?  (Read 4686 times)

My mom beat the sh*t out of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
I didn't even get as far as she did.
She proceeded to play Majora's Mask, got 3/8 the way through, and abandoned it.
She now plays solitaire. Speaking of which, she has a friend who can finish a solitaire game in less than a few minutes.

What the hell?

My dad's great at video games, and he's almost 50.

My dad plays Minecraft.

A lOT.

My dad has his moods.

At one point he could take on a game easy, at other times he just can't.

I wish I could get my mom and dad to become interested in video games.

Would have had a more interactive childhood.

My dad doesnt game. Unless its pacman. He can play that forever.

br0 i've been playing new stuff every day this week.
then again early 20's isn't exactly old.

my parents say "computers how the forget do they work"
and to which i mentally reply uuhhg....

my parents say "computers how the forget do they work"
baffles me to this day.
whoever came up with them deserves a cookie.

cant teach a old dog new tricks...but why.

It's because they grew up without cool stuff like internet...and civilization. :D

as you get older your brain is less capable of learning
at least that's what i think i know

Its when you are around 21 that you won't make anymore brain cells. Thats what I think it is.

i cant do stuff in ssbb
its hard as forget for me to even send someone into the air

My dad used to play Playstation 1 with me when I was just a lil' kid.
*Sniff* I miss those days.
