Let VIPs place indestructable blocks or something
have small lots where people are allowed to build, and it locks it from being destroyed by anyone but people who own the land and who the owner approves of.
There's got to be a mod or something like that.

Some of our VIPs are abusive, so indestructable blocks are out, and spawning items through the console is a definite no.

Simple make a chest sand trap look it up on youtube when they open it to steal some loot the sand collapses into a pit of lava
EDIT: I also looked at a video on land mines they fall on a pressure plate and the TNT explodes its more complicated than it sounds
