If I understand correctly, our servers have remote console because we bypass the launcher when our servers start. This however means that we will not automatically receive updates from BL. If I want to update, my server will have to shut down, then Kalphiter runs my server without bypassing the launcher.
A simple way of updating could be a button in the remote console (or link in the web console) that starts the server without bypassing the launcher.
Am I right about this?

agree, we can't depend on Kalphiter all times.

Correct.
I'm waiting for an option from Badspot to prevent the server from running after the launcher is run, so that the launcher becomes an updater/update checker only.
However, there is probably a way to immediately end the process after the launcher is finished. This is probably going to be the solution to it.
Second of all, I'm planning on an update checker that I'm writing myself, so it can tell you when you need to update.
