Kaphost Blockland Servers
pecon98:
8 - core 2.4 Ghz AMD processor = 19.2 Ghz of processing.
4 - core 3.4 Ghz Intel processor = 13.6 Ghz of processing.
That's 5.6 billion more calculations per second.
Intel's architecture might be slightly faster than AMD architecture, but with how little Blockland normally demands it really is obsolete. You'll need more processing power altogether to host more servers than Kalph.

Don't worry, plenty of research has been done and I'm confident my choice is the best option for how I want to run my service. I'm not trying to stuff 50 servers on a node to make the biggest profit out of 1 server, that only leads to quality issues.

You also lose more money going with Intel, it's another one of those 'name brand' things. You can get AMD processors that are extremely similar to the one you plan on getting for less.

Everything is planned and priced, really, I appreciate the concern but don't worry yourself.

psst, it's ok pecon - he buys apple products!
he's got it all figured out: the more you pay out the more you get in return!!!!
like those donation buckets at church!
speaking of church, will your service come before or after the rising of Christ, Lub?
the bible says Christ is coming "soon", but so do you about your service
