I use it for things that need to loop constantly without a relay. This fit two criteria:

-2x Range Bricks = Loud Reach
-Loop w/o Relay

You still haven't said what it's used for (assuming you're not using it for actually playing music, in that case, refer to my previous post).

Irrelevant if it's purely for looping.

Last time I checked there wasn't some onMusicLoop event.

Or, to clarify, I don't have a beef with the implementation as such, but rather that it even exists.

1) Loops, and is louder than if it were a sound.
2) Music loops by default. There is no excuse for that comment.

I eventually just set it to a sound on a precise relay. I was having overlay problems with music bricks in single player.
