have you even seen the newer film? in the newer one they're just in small boxes. there are no obstacles, just one side and another, kinda like a tennis court without the net.

Old one was like two sets of concentric circles over a pit. You bounce the light discs off the ceiling to hit the other person's floor rings, which disappear on impact. First to fall loses.
