Author Topic: Blockland needs....  (Read 2764 times)

I thought Source and Crytek were both infinitely more powerful than torque, why would it be so bad?
Because both of them are based around a physics engine.

Blockland needs to be on Frostbite 2.0

I think it needs a tshirt/ goodie program, like bumper stickers and stuff. That would probably not be a problem for badspot. I think t would get attention, like you know, custom blockheads bumperstickers and chiz

I MEAN THE BLOCKLAND PROGRAM! NOT THE FORUMS!
well maybe badspot could fund it for the game

Badspot already said no advertising.

Hmm. Not so bad of a idea.

Oh I wonder why.. Cuz then we could have...

RETAIL BLOCKLAND

Hmm. Not so bad of a idea.
I have a headache, my heads all mangled up, and you're taking my flying chair idea seriously.

Think about how many objects end up being created in a typical blockland server. I think the brick cap is 128,000? In Source, try spawning 1,000 crates. Like, take the stacker STOOL in Gmod and spawn a crate, stack ten horizontally, ten up from each of those and then ten out from each of THOSE and see if your computer doesn't crash. Also, Source and I imagine Crytek are not built for expansive spaces map wise.

But I liked the flying chair idea |:c

The original Blockland engine did this. Bricks were originally plain .dts models. The reason we can have over a hundred thousand bricks is because of the modifications Badspot made to the version of Torque he used. Not advocating Blockland move to Source or something silly, just saying.

Also, we really do need that flying chair idea implemented. I'd be willing to donate $500 towards the cause.

Then blockland would just be a near replica of roblox gameplay.

I think I am gout to do something about this and like ask for donations roared the flying chair cause or the FCS
