Preferable Modelling Software?

A lot of people like Wings 3D, but it requires you have blender 2.49 and the Torque DTS exporter.

Blender for the win.
Uses quads instead of tri's, thus reducing polygon count, program is mostly for animation, and other great features.

I'm pretty sure quads and Blockland don't mix. Tris are better.

I make the actual model in Wings 3D, then I export the model to .obj.  I import the .obj file in Milkshape 3D, then I color the model and add joints.  Then I export to .dts, which is built in to Milkshape 3D.
