Using loaded terms such as "outrageous" when not in quotes is presenting information in a pre-filtered manner.
Let the readers determine what would be considered Power-Mad or not.
I see this entire thing on the level of the Yahoo Blogs that are posted as news articles.

No offense.

No.

bias |ˈbīəs|
noun
1 prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair : there was evidence of bias against foreign applicants | the bias toward younger people in recruitment | [in sing. ] a systematic bias in favor of the powerful.

Hey look the bold is quite the opposite huehue.

Sorry I was too late to edit. One's opinions are biased by default, however an article doesn't have to be. The wording you choose makes it so.

Well as a writer its my job to provide facts and in this case offer a perspective. If you dislike it, or consider it biased, whether it is or not thats your own established opinion. And thats all an article should do. Help establish your view.

As a writer of fiction maybe, but if you are presenting your article as an accurate source of news and journalism, such opinions should be left aside to possibly an "author's opinions" sections. Again I know someone just referenced Fox News, but I find the similarities rather funny (and to some extend unnerving) of how you so freely mix information and speculation.

I may not have my technicalities in line but I think you are confusing News and Editorials
