Is hosting 2 servers from 2 different computers possible?
Tyler66:
In June, I will receive my grandpa's Windows XP because he is getting a new iMac. I plan to use the computer for ISO image storage and 24/7 Blockland server hosting, the problem is: my router (2WIRE) will not accept 2 port-forwards for 2 different computers. And I will likely be hosting 2 servers at the same time. Is there anyway I can host 2 servers from 2 different computers?
Kalphiter:
Yes
Even if you couldn't, the master server wouldn't be able to tell the two computers apart.

Well at least I know its possible. But 2Wire will not let me port forward from 2 machines, is there another way?
M:
Use different ports for the second one. ie 28000-28032 for the first one, 28100-28132 for the second.
If it literally doesn't support two port forward rules then you needed a new router basically the day you got it.
And for the server on the second one, start BL up normally and hit Start Server->Advanced Options and change the port to 28100, then quit and start it dedicated.

But you only need 1 port for each server...
