I would just like to point out a few things.
1. It is kind of odd of Skip to even appear in a topic to tell us all this game is bad because it is a genre he has no taste in, and would prefer if the game company completely redid the game to fit a genre more to his liking.
2. Tails and Bisjac should not even have an opinion of the game as they haven't played it passed level 10-15 and it was in a restricted beta made solely to test it. You can feel free to come in and say "I only played it a bit and couldn't get into it so I will not be buying it" but to come in and say "It is a horrible game and is a WoW clone" is just idiotic. I can understand tails calling it a WoW clone because WoW is probably the only P2P game he has a decent amount of knowledge in, but a hardcore MMOer like Bisjac should know better.
3. This game was built by the makers of Everquest 1 and is proud and boasts to be a game for people who loved Everquest 1. Everquest 1 was almost 100% grind, 100% hard, 100% frustration, and people couldn't get enough of it. It is targetted at old-school MMOers.

Please tell me whose starfish you're pulling this out of.
I said it's possible for someone (i.e. NOT NECESSARILY BLIZZARD) to make an MMORPG with "my liking," and it has been done before, just not very well.

I walk into a shop, and i have an opinion of the shop instantly even if i've never bought or talked to any staff.

That's a horrible example to compare it to, when you walk into a shop you can see all of it's content at first glance. I will offer a better example, if you had to review WoW based solely off the first 6 levels, having never played any more of it, doing the quest to kill 10 boars and then kill 6 scorpions and then kill 10 imps, and then kill an orc, how awesome would you rate it?
