Right, but like, what's the point of mastering one thing (dragons, ponies, furries, robots, whatever the forget people like to post).
It's really obvious the pony comment is always aimed because when they usually come up someone always mentions my name and I'm the only one consistently drawing ponies. I draw a lot of ponies because that's what people request, I draw requests because I like being generous, it makes me happy, but that's a long irrelevant story.
I've drawn plenty of other things on request or out of my own will too.

Sometimes I think people forget that colouring is a skill in itself, and its more than just staying inside the lines. Like you don't feel you've mastered drawing portraits, I don't feel I've gotten good enough at colouring things.
If someone tells me that digital painting is too different to be compared to painting with actual paint I swear someone's going to lose their kneecaps. A lot of programs get pretty damn close, Corel Painter is probably close enough that the only difference is it being more accurate and being able to insta-dry things.
