why would you use flash to draw something
why would you use draw something to flash

why would you use flash to draw something
Well, it can be a pretty good tool to draw with, and I had it opened, so I was like "'Eh, why not."

If you weren't meant to draw still pictures in Flash, then it wouldn't have options to save as non-animated file types

What effect is your avatar Masterlegodude?

I didn't say you weren't supposed to, it's just so easy that you end up only drawing stuff so simple yet so nicely shaped that it's just so annoying being in the middle of drawing world when you use it.

I really don't know what I'm trying to say

it's just weird. other programs are a lot better for it

I didn't make it, it just looks like the effect that is gained by redrawing the same scene with crayons

My post was more aimed at Night Fox, i should have been more clear about that by quoting him

Also, i tried drawing in Flash once, it didn't quite come out well, so i must have been doing something wrong (but despite how it looks, it somehow manged to start a small image editing fad long ago)

Well you're right there, but i just feel it's harder to get that smooth anti-aliased look with most programs like Paint.net or Photoshop

Paint.Net's brush is good, but something about it's anti-aliasing just feels off and the lining isn't exactly smooth unless you have a steady hand or aren't zoomed out as much

Photoshop's brushes are still rather blurred even if you set the flow to 100, and hardness to 100, using smaller brush sizes like 2 or 3 looks okay but still pretty blurry, so it just feels like you're forced to use up even more time drawing something by using the line tool and tracing the outer and inner walls of the outline

I also find it hard to color inside the lines in these programs, unless you use Photoshop's line tool or just use a bolder brush size in either programs

etc
he should try Illustrator

Although the armor is good, I think that it should be stick out more and not look like it's a plastic covering.

Great point. Thanks for the feedback.

I don't want him to look too bulky in the armor, but i'll make some changes and we'll see the result.

Get a better scanner/camera.
