except, as xxxxkill said, that thread was made to catalog and discuss OCs, not become the next drawings megathread.

if you want to filter things out of the drawings megathread, then perhaps a fanart megathread should also be made? or an artistic nude megathread?

the way i've always perceived it is that if you're drawing a friend's OC/an OC that isn't part of a franchise, then you're just drawing someone's OC. but as soon as a character becomes connected to a franchise/series or gains a fanbase, then drawings of that OC are considered fan art.
