Do you remember that epic meme where you tell you friend if their hand is larger than their face they have cancer? Well when they put their hand up to their face usually their hand spanned accross the entire face. And then you make them slap themselves. Basically hands should be about as large as the face. Those hands couldnt even choke a struggling Somalian kid.

Here's some advice. The single best resource for proportions and details is your own body. Obviously everyone's different, but you can get some damn good basics with just your own body.
