Someday I'll find a hill where I'll be able to see a panorama of a city pretty closely. I'll take a piece of paper and draw one half an inch of what I see in the city down the width of the paper. Then I'll do it the next day (at a different time of the day) to the next half an inch, with the another portion of the city right next to it. I'll repeat this until I have all 23 halves done (11 1/2 inch paper tall). Then it'll be like a time-lapse on a piece of paper, showing the same city view but each half an inch will look different depending on what time I drew it at.
