Firstly, it's a good thing to keep away from getting too technical with all the measurements.
A good tip to drawing the face is to picture how the lower jaw would be like, then adjust where the mouth should be. When it's too low it messes up with the drawing.
(I'm dreadfully sorry for editing your picture ;n; ) lifted up the mouth a little here.
