Make it known that someone has it in your school, spread an email you made for it called 'the anime bible @ gmail' and the person who owns it shall contact you though the email, you can quiz them on the contents to make sure they are the true owner. You can then arrange to leave it somewhere for them to pick up, so you can stay anonymous.

Strangerkids can be pretty forgeted in the head sometimes, they could turn it around and be like "PRINCIPLE THIS forgetER TOOK MY BOOK AND TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY $100 TO GET IT BACK BLAHLBLHABLAHB BITCHBITCHBITCH" and then you get in trouble for being the good guy, ALWAYS. HAPPENS.
