what does this have to do with nintendo? Sure, I like some of the nintendo products but..

You seem like one of those kids that by the time they were old enough to play games mainstream consoles like xbox and gamecube were already out, but runs around pretending they grew up in the NES age and reminisce about how awesome it was.
