I might be a bit late but finally even the PAL users can have fun with texture changing;

you will come to the part to choose the textures. The links on there won't work so I'd suggest you to go http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php there for textures.

It works for me and I must say it's pretty exciting playing the story mode with "different" characters :D
