Remember when Mushroom Man requested Ganon's sword be made? Well, when he was requesting that, I believe he meant the sword of the Sages:

The X saber is like the Z-saber except it only has one slash and the slash shoots a slash after it,so its like a long range z-saber,if I'm correct it was in Megaman X3 and never made an appearance in any other game.

That would look really lame in-game. ..unless it had a really good animation.
