It seems i cannot scale by face, i can only set perameters and click. This is very irritating, how do i correct it?

Hmm Make sure you have the Y X Z Buttons Press and if your using the 1.0 1.0 1.0 make sure you change then to some thing like 0.9 0.9 0.9. If you still have trouble just say and try to make sense.

No, i have those settings but when i go to drag the mouse to scale it, it just kindof "Jumps" to a size and wont let me scale it.

If your scaling the object using the Windows make sure your not zoomed out to far and not zoomed in to far if you try scaling when your Zoomed out the scaling system goes crazy when you try to scale some thing and if your doing it while your zoomed right in the scaling goes very slow and doesn't move very far so if ether one of these is the case your model is to big or to small.

Thanks, but i am at the normal zoom level, and have tried various zoom levels anyway.
