--- Quote from: Kalphiter on January 12, 2011, 12:00:20 AM ---But, does that mean they can host it really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like even as to claim it as their own? --- End quote --- Well, as part of Blockland they have the right to download builds from other servers as well as the right to host any builds they have in their possession. They also have the right to choose whatever name they so desire and the right to name their server whatever they desire. Furthermore, since the server is running off their own personal computer, they have the right to say and tell people what they want on their own hardware. |

You're an idiot for saying "they can do whatever they want". Sure they can, but it's like saying "It was Riddler's country, he can do whatever he want". |

Considering they are hosting something on their computer, as in personal property, then yes, they can do what they want on their server. And yes, I've already stated that it was a richard thing to do, but this wasn't about whether you should or shouldn't, it was about whether he was in his right to do so or not. |

Perhaps a better comparison would be killing someone in your house? In which case you aren't in the right to do so because you are breaking the law. You basically have to agree to abide by the rules of the law or suffer the consequences. Given that there are no rules against saving data from the someone else's server, he's still in the right. |

This is plagiarism. Although, they are impersonating me. But under my name, he is doing abusive and stupid things, and is claiming the wrecked edition of Isar is real. So this is slander. Now, I'm no legal expert obviously, but since my real name is associated with the IcyGamma nickname, is that in no sense identity fraud? They are claiming to be IcyGamma, so they are claiming to be the person behind the nickname. |
