I think something that has been pissing me off lately is the internet.
In general, the internet is a for of mass communication that spans across the globe to unite us and all that happy horse stuff right? Well, I don't see it that way. Mostly on social sites like, Forums, blog, Wikipedia (I'll get that later), YouTube, and Image sites.
Forums are a great way of showing the world your two cents. But when you post you honest opinion on something, a huge flame war starts.
EX: User: Roblox is a pretty good game. Commenter: ROBLOX SUCKS BIG BLAC COK! (And vice versa.)
Wikipedia, being editable and all, has a huge chance at spreading knowledge. But also false information.
EX: Searched: Furrys, Results: Furry's are the biggest peices of stuff on the planet and should be shot at all costs! (I just wanted to know what they were.)
YouTube is a nice site that allows you to post a video of something you did, and get a comment about it. But this is not always the case. Many times you'll see nothing but repeat videos of someone else's work. Or you end up reading nothing but bad comments about how the person in the video looked, not the content of the video.
EX: Video: My veiws on renewable energy. Commenter: Lol, u r so fat. go chase a donut!
And lastly, Virus traps. They are nothing but bad. You go on an image search for a Lego creation and find something suitable. Good, now you click the link and BAM! Instant virus. Why? Who sits at home and makes a virus to destroy someone's computer for fun? I don't know.
But please take into note before you quote this that these are my views on the Internet. My two cents.
