Just to clear things up for me caution, which one of us was shot? Me or Star9578?
Apparently you did. :o

The man lies in the sand, stiller than the air around his body. Its nearly night time now, but the horizon still glows with beautiful shades of oranges and purples and yellows. All is still, and then finally, the soft noise of footsteps in the sand breaks the silence. A few more pairs emerge and then three people emerge into the openness of the beach, and begin to head for the body. They're eerily dressed in all black clothing and this allows them to blend easily into the shadows behind them. Two of the three forms glance up towards the long bridge and check for guards; it appears clear, which is rare, especially in such a high threat time.
"Jesus Christ, do you know who this is, Mac?" A womans voice speaks first. Her voice is normal for a womans, but paints a picture in the mind of a beautiful face with deep yet simple features.
"Of course I do, why do you think I'm out here?" A man speaks back in reply to the first voice; the air remains empty of a third voice.
"Its Jake... uh, Jake... well, nevermind his last name... let's get him out of here... we could make quite a profit off of him if we turn his ass in," the woman says excitedly. She doesn't sound older than 30. Together the man and the woman pick up the limp mans body and haul him off to the mainland while the third continues spectating the bridge. "Izzy! Let's go!"
Just as the trio disappears behind a stack of large industrial shipping containers, a large squad of officers race around the corner where Jake's body had been laying only seconds ago. They ran out of luck; high tide erased any footprints or traces of where he went off to.
"God dammit!"
1) Check the date of the quote above. :P
2) This is my little team, k? :3
Two hours after Jake's body had been snagged, the team still sits in the middle of the shipping yard in between where the shipping containers stop and the lines of semis began, lining the edges of the thin peninsula. The three people dressed in black sit around in random places around the body that lays on some scraps of cardboard in the middle of the lot.
"I had a pulse... I
have a pulse... when will he wake?"
"Relax, Kal, he'll be fine... we just have to wait a bit," said the voice labeled Mac. Just after he"d finished his sentence, the third speechless figure began waving his arms frantically to get the other two's attention. He pointed up at the sky and a firey ball rocketed through the sky, obviously descending to the earth.
"What the hell is that," said 'Kal'.
Nobody replied and they just watched in awe as the object rocketed by. After a minute of gazing it disappeared behind the skyline of skyscrapers, and the sky was as black as the city and its surroundings.
The crew noticed they hadn't gotten any updates from their [E]Boards lately; they came to this realization earlier this afternoon. Something awfully weird was going on...
Assume the object crash landed outside Checkpoint H.
