Bump because I now have a half an hour of footage in place and I really, really want Taboo to do his damn voices already lol.

I'm actually getting eager to shoot the Han Solo stuff, so the sooner he can do that, the happier I'll be.

I must stress though that obviously this film does not pride itself on deadlines, so he can basically take as long as he'd like, I just really wish I could lay that all out. I'm tired of hearing my own voice...

Ok, this is something Darkstar and I have been conversing about for most of the weekend. He did all of the modeling, obviously, but I helped a little (my decals, opinions, post rendering text and such).

Anyway, if this doesn't get you riled up, I don't know what will. This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.

If I'm not mistaken, the poster itself contains no copyright infringements, it might be possible to be made into a real poster... I'll check into it.

If it is made into a poster, i'm buyin it

I do belive it's Eric Hartman, unless he spelled his name wrong on the Blockland site.

I think you mean Erik Hartman(?)

got all your physical stormtrooper actor slots filled yet?
because id like to do that

My bad. Yeah it's man, not men. I must have been typing too fast.

Would fix it, but then it's not a horrible tragedy. No one for some reason has ever been able to spell Hollingsworth. At least I just got a letter wrong rather than a whole name. (I got Hollinger as a name once)

If this poster is to ever exist physically, I promise to fix his name before it would ever go to print. I do apologize.

We actually have no quota on physical actors. Whoever is there gets a part and then I write down your name.

I get to play C3P0 in the movie not the trailer :D

I'm still up for physical acting.

I think I went a little overboard with the dancing (middle stormtrooper, the one going all over the place), but I can do better! :D

lol

That Y-Wing looks a bit iffy.

There is a Y-wing in the movie for literally less than 30 seconds.

Why it's on the poster I'll never really get.

Update-a-reno!

Believe it or not folks, Block Wars is actually on the full stretch to being completed. I know. I'm shocked.

After becoming distressed from lack of nothing getting done, and fearing that the production would halt like it has in the past, I quickly went back and began final arrangements on the voice work I had recorded myself. It's safe to say that I now have a fully laid out audio track, and that the film totals to a full length of 1:11:00 (one hour eleven minutes). While the original Star Wars clocked in at 2:01:00, we did cut a lot out for humor, or for practicality, or simply for time. This means that Block Wars is going to be the longest Blockland Machinema to date.

Which brings me to my last point, after three years of wait and denial and abandonment by both creators and fans, Block Wars is looking to be released some time within our life times.
