| Hosting a blockland server? |
| (1/2) > >> |
| Jay Ray:
Hey guys, I haven't played Blockland in a few years, and was curious about the server-hosting status of the game. I remember when I played it back in 2007, hosting was such a pain, an I was never able to host a server. Now, my brother said it is supposed to be easier to host a server? Is this a 100% seamless action, or will I still have to jump through a bunch of hoops? Thanks, Jay |

Server hosting uses port punching, So you should be able to. (i love the term port punching.) |
| Jay Ray:
So, punching = forwarding... right? |
| Night Fox:
No. It now uses Universal Plug n' Play, or UPnP. Makes it so a lot more people can host. Though I never had to port forward, even before Badspot added UPnP, and I could host fine. |
