Because both would be interesting to see done.
A large cliff-side, perfect for hiding and hunting from above, or a broken down Shopping Centre, turned into a hideout.
I reckon some form of cave-system (perhaps connected to this mine, so it has multiple entrances, or is only accesible and exitable via one way), in which there are a small community of survivors, or lots of goodies or even bad guys, would be interesting.
