You are excellent at math. (0-F) is the same as (0-15)
Lets count, just to keep it easy for you

1-1
2-2
3-3
4-4

10-A  <-- This is where it gets tricky!

15-F

FF = 15(16) + 15 = 255

VCEmodVariable changes the value, not tests it, and you cannot change a player's id.  You would use VCEIfValue.
