we aren't that hilarious to make a whole new section in the network.

Blockbot wouldn't be just for funny images; it would be for any sort of interesting picture related to Blockland (e.g. in-game screen-caps).

It would probably cause a wave of idiots trying to make lols on these forums and then uploading them to BlockBot.

If I'm not mistaken, that is already the case except the uploading target is lolbot instead of blockbot. I doubt that the addition of blockbot would significantly increase this phenomenon.
