Maybe if you read the whole thing you'd realize I was the second engineer. Second, in a rolelay, don't you think some VARIETY is needed? Why the forget would you want a bunch of engineers, one robot, and a doctor? Sounds like stuff to me. Next time, think before you post, eh?

I hear Lucas over the radio.

Percy: *r*Where are you?

Lucas: *r*I'm at the main transport bridge.

Percy: John, you stay with this guy. If he regains consciousness, get some info on him. If he isn't awake in 10 minutes, come after me.

John: Since when were you the boss of -

Percy: John...

John: Fine.

Percy: *r*I'm on my way. Lets see. Zooming in on the IntersectTracker...aha! I see your location!

I start up the EliteBoosters and begin flying down the long hallway at over 25 MPH. I stop just before I crash into a pile of cable cords.

Lucas: <checks watch> Pretty good time. Seven seconds.

Percy: Yeah, yeah. Stand back.

He steps back as I take out my EliteMAW. I set it to Debris Clear and take aim. I launch the projectile grenade in a crack in all the cables and junk. A few seconds later, it explodes, and a 4-foot wide path is cleared for us to walk through.

Percy: Mmhmm. You're welcome.

I'm not going to argue with Feep anymore, not because I agree with him, but because continuing will ruin the fun for everyone else.

Status: Meh.

I went to the crew quarters, only to find that the doors were torn awaywith brutal force. The threshold was coated in a thin, slimy black film. Reapers. I knew anyone and anything in there had been consumed, so I decided to find my engineering suit.

I took careful strides around the halls, wary of the prescence of reapers on the ship. A plasma knife was embedded in the wires of a cable box. I growled and took it out, turned it off, and pocketed it. I got into a storage compartment, where I found my EPS. "How did that get here?" I asked myself, then saw the red kiss marks all over the white metal. "Ah."


Also,  feep, this isn't a dead space themed roleplay.

Percy: You've got your suit...and now for mine.

I press a button on my EliteIntersect. The second I press it, a small piece of metal strapped to my back expands, covering my torso, then covering my arms, legs, and finally my head with a dark piece of glass in front of the eyes.

Lucas: Are you loving serious?

Percy: I got inspired when I looked up something from long ago called an iron man. The suit looked pretty sweet, even though it was fake, so I recreated it, and it really works.

Lucas: Where can I get me one of those?

Percy: You'll get one later. If you slide the EliteMAW into a side pocket, it can shoot directly from a hole that opens in the right palm. Combined with the EliteBoosters, it can handle stabilized flight, and run for up to 13 hours before needing a solar-powered recharge. It even looks pretty decent, with this nice blue, black, and white paint job.

Lucas: Lets go. Whatever's in there doesn't seem friendly.

I opened my eyes, the whole room was just a big hunk of debris. I see a man appearing out of the darkness, he is calling for someone, but i was so beat up and half consciousness, that i didn't really try hearing.
He then looked at my direction, and thankfully saw me. He shouted something, and that's all i remember before he was grabbed by a dozen black creatures back into the darkness.
And thats when i blacked out...

After we suited up, Percy lead me back towards John.

Percy: You're chief engineer, right?
Lucas: Yeah.
Percy: Why aren't you doing anything?
Lucas: I haven't done anything ye-

I was cut off when a panel next to us flew off. Startled, I jumped back and Percy jumped. A black, human-ish head popped out. Then another. And another. Then a large, bulbous black body with boils all over it held up by two stubby legs. It had small arms.
Kind of resembled a T-rex.

Lucas: I've seen these before.
Percy: Where?
Lucas: Zephylon Station, right before they nuked it.
Percy: That's bad.
Lucas: Oh, yes.

We turned and ran just as the three heads opened their mouths and uttered a hollow scream. One of the boils contracted and a greenish liquid splashed out of it's mouths and into the wall in front of us. The wall melted quickly, steam rising from it.

SYSTEMS ONLINE

I began to stand up. These strange creatures backed up a few steps, then slowly approached. They walked to my legs and looked up at me. Small little fellas. I bent down to take a closer look. The creatures' faces were kind of cute, when they weren't trying to kill you. I looked back up and realised the ship was nearby. I was in some underbrush. This planet had lots of vegetation. Wait...vegetation means there must be air!

SCANNING FOR OXYGEN...

OXYGEN FOUND

I quickly accessed my radio and called for whichever person I randomly contacted.

ACCESING SHIP'S RADIO...

I heard some buzzing. "Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?"
Static. "I have confirmed the ship is full of oxygen and vegetation! The creatures are not showing any signs of hostility towards me so I would suggest that somebody allows the outside oxygen to enter the ship before we run out of oxygen in the ship itself!"
No responce.
I checked to see who I contacted. James Kazliek... Engineer on the ship. I waited for a responce.
Nothing
If he was passed out I hoped that the noises from my end would wake him up. I began to look around the planet. I wanted to know more about these creatures...

(oh and just for the record the creatures I am encountering are the baby versions of the creatures on the ship/on the planet)

I Stood up in the light, nothing seemed to be in the room. I still had all my equipment, and then i heard my PDA ringing.

"Hello?" I asked through the PDA.
All my wounds seemed to have healed, well, the serious ones at least.

Percy: Lemme try something. Command. Fire Bait!

The voice command fires bait out of my palmgun, but directly into the creature's mouth. It does not stop.

Percy: Hang ooonnnn!!!

I grab Lucas by the shirt collar and start up my EliteBoosters. We fly down the hallway leaving the monster in the dust. Then the EliteBoosters stopped.

Percy: AAHHH!!!

I accidently let go of Lucas, as he plummets into a 5 foot by 5 foot box of foam peanuts.
I look back quickly and guess we have 30 seconds before the monster is in range of shooting us, and 3 minutes before it physically catches up.
That's the last thing I remember before I hit the ground, bounce, hit a wall, and black out.



I'm not dead. I just blacked out from the impact. Deus, try something to wake me before 'ol Upchuck catches up. Lets call him Upchuck, k?

In heard somebody speaking over the radio. "Hello? You must allow you outside oxygen to enter the inside of the ship! I have confirmed there is oxygen on this planet!" I said. "Getting right on that!" I heard him say back. I Was looking at these creatures and realised they weren't fully developed... babies. I would like to see the parents to gather even more information. Just as I said that a large creature appeared before me. Three heads. It sniffed me and growled for a second. Probably warning me to stay away from the babies. I walked back to the ship to see if there was any source of none pressurization (it's a word :3). Nothing yet. I began to clean out my hard drive

I slapped Percy-hard. He woke up and rubbed his cheek and, remembering our situation, turned his eliteMAW to stun, and fired at the creature. The blue bolts only caused it to falter, and it spat another glob of acid. I yelped and ducked under it. We pounded down the halls until we reached a dead end.

The drop pod drew nearer to the ground. They were heading straight to some kind of lake. The young crewman, known as Martin Werfield, started to cry. The sinking sensation in his stomach grew stronger as they neared the large lake. It impacted the water so hard, and they shot straight to the bottom. Martin screamed, and then it smashed the lake floor. Martin's dad, Mark, said, "alright, I am going to kick this door open. In order to escape, we need to fill it with water first. Take in a deep breath now..." Everyone sucked as much oxygen as they could in, as Mark drew his legs back, and with all his might kicked the door out. Water immediately rushed inside, engulfing everyone in seconds.
