Nonsense, the pig is not a building block so there is no reason whatsoever why it would have to look like blocks. Also modern video cards are very capable of rendering much more decent graphics. There can be only one conclusion here. The maker of this game wants to mock God!

Then you must really suck at it as Doom 3 takes place in Hell and Satan is the final boss you have to defeat. Doom 3 is an excellent example of why no one should ever play video games. Your mind and soul have clearly been destroyed by Doom 3.
