I hope that it never happens.
The last thing that BL needs is to end up like Maxis or other small-time companies that turned to crap after selling out. Yeah, they made a lot more money, but their products were just games that looked shiney on the outside but had qualitative shortcomings and no lasting appeal.
But this is just my input. Badspot may have other priorities in mind.
