Whenever someone makes a thread about the upcoming version, Badspot bumps the release date back a month for the luls.

Anywho, I can only hope that whatever he's doing is more or less a simple update.

Yea thats about it, but its kind of a big deal - all of the add-ons you couldn't make, lighting, etc.
It will never happen though - way too much work down the drain.

Tell me, why would he spend 5+ years working on a game just to scrap it and make a sequel that will probably not have the old feel/look to it?

Plus, it will spin up a bunch of boy cotters and arguments.

Blockland on another engine besides Torque just wouldn't be the same.
