Steam- declining debit card.

I triple checked all my billing info and have money in my account, but my debit card company is declining my card.

Any idea on what could be causing this?

The card could be using a different adress or something simmilar. Ask the support for your card's company maybe.

Dunno why that would matter, unless you mean is it visa/master card etc. but steam seems to take virtually every type.

Also in case its a gift card and youre just calling it a debit card like a lot of people do, the reason would be that the address isnt matching up with the banks address

How can you add the funds to your account? Is it like a normal credit card?

because some banks are more likely to automatically block some online shopping charges and lock the card up as theft protection.
