Also, 3000 people died? That's not nothing. Daily people die from terrorism. Weekly, the death count puts 9/11 to shame.

Any death is a tragedy. The reason 9-11 is so very well remembered was because it became common grounds for many around the world; Not to mention the attention it drew, though not to disparge it. And Instead of just hiding people felt more together. The Great Equalizer makes our differences seem all the more smaller. It's just a shame some people forgot that so quickly.

I know I don't. I remember when it happened, I saw the second plane hit on TV and I laughed. I still laugh when I think about all the starfishs getting sentimental over a bunch of people dying that they don't even know, I have more important things to worry about.

As I said, any death is a tragedy. To be apathetic to any because "you didn't know them" is ignorant. After all, no man is an island. Every person on this planet effects you, whether dead or alive. Merely their existence influences yours, even if you fail to recognize it. That's not to say you should become upset and break down each word you hear of death, but to dismiss it is a cold, bitter thing to do.
