now i just need to go to the place in tunisia where they did tatooine

Betelgeuse is not the second largest star.

VY Canis Majoris is the largest and there are like 3 other stars between the size of Betelgeuse and Canis.

Bullstuff

Bullstuff everywhere

We have no clue how old it is because it's so far away light takes a long time to get here.

Also Betelgeuse although large isn't even visible with the naked eye therefore it will not be visible and DEFINITELY will not make it lighter during the day.

Stop being stupid OP. Reported for doomsday theorizing and general handicapation.

Also take in mind that anything that involves stars takes millions of years to happen which means if it's not already going supernovae it means it won't for a very very long time.

Isn't that what happened to Jirue?

you're stupid. Did the OP ever say/predict betelgeuse would die? Nooooo. But he linked something that did. You're the one being a handicap here, bro. And reporting someone based on what they believe? Wow.

Read above,

Also you're an idiot. Yes he did say it would.

He linked it and insinuated that it's the truth.

This is loving stupid and obviously false.

Further proof:
see attached image:

Okay, so it could happen in 2012, but also one million years

Therefore, because that means it could happen in the next two years, it is possible I guess. A one in 500,000 chance.

I'm not sure if they are just being flat out stupid, or are actually trying to make seemingly true statements using relatively messed up statistics.

go out to a desert/waste city
proudly say
“mos eisley spaceport, the most wretched hive of scum and villany(insert rest of famous phrase i dont remeber somehow

1. It is part of the constellation Orion, in fact it is the 2nd brightest of that constellation, so therefore it is well and truly visible. Maybe not in your smog-ridden cities in America.
2. When a star dies, it becomes many times brighter, here's a diagram to illustrate how it would look from earth, complete with the rest of Orion:
