Super Mario Sunshine didn't get enough attention. The plot was handicapped, but then again so is every mario game's. Also, the dialogue was odd. But for 2002 standards, the graphics were pure win.

It was so damn fun to just shoot people with the water cannon and jump around the rooftops. Also kicking fruit at people was fun.
