Are they going to kill of the DS because of the 3DS?

They do recommend you take a break from wii sports often, but that doesn't stop us from playing wii tennis for 4 hours.

there are many others. Don't be misled by the fact that it says for 6 and under in the second link, that is merely stating another warning.

those warnings are just to cover nintendo's asses, just like the messages that say you should take a break every hour which no one listens to

I do believe hearing from a friend that the 3DS will have backwards compatibility to support DS games.
