Yeah, you can.

But it doesn't really involve VirtualBox.

Not really. Gaming wont work on it well it uses an emulated graphics driver

I think you can if you install the actual graphics drivers, but the problem is is that you have to select how much RAM it can use, which means is less for your main OS.
If you have 4 GB of RAM, you can split it into 2 for each. I think the same works for the CPU.

Hey im in VirtualBox with ubuntu and it is in 800X600. How do I make it go full screen 1024 X 768?

ninja: I have clicked full screen but the borders where it should be 1024 X 768 are just black.

You just click System > Preferences > Screen Resolution.
